Screw Linux

I wrote a few days ago that I was going to install Linux over the weekend. I did. I installed Ubuntu Linux. It wasn’t bad. I got it set up, installed a few programs, opened up firefox and did a little surfing. I decided to reboot into XP to work on something.

Weekend project- the hard drive

Posted April 21st, 2006

My heatsink recently broke, so I sent my computer in to get it fixed (still under warranty).

Since they haven’t, I’ve decided this weekend will be my time to nuke the hard drive and dive into the world of Linux.

Further down the rabbit hole I go. I have a feeling I’m going to be spending a lot of time here.
